Launched alongside the GLC Coupe is the luxurious Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4Matic+ Coupe. The facelifted SUV brings a new exterior with some updates to the interior too for a sportier appeal, and of course, it is fully imported.

Here in Malaysia, the GLE Coupe is priced at a cool RM873,888; inclusive of 10% sales tax. For that kind of money, you’re getting a powerful 3.0L turbocharged inline-six engine that delivers 435hp and 560Nm of torque. This being an AMG model, it features a nine-speed AMG Speedshift TCT 9G automatic transmission.

Complementing that is the 4Matic+ AWD system that offers fully variable torque distribution.

Just like the GLC Coupe, the GLE Coupe also has a 48V mild hybrid system, though it is slightly different output wise, producing 20hp and 200Nm of torque. In terms of performance, the GLE Coupe can go from 0-100kmph in only 5.0 seconds with a top speed of 250kmph.
