The Honor X9b has just landed in Malaysia. Touted as a durable smartphone – it’s said to be the first phone to get a 5-star all-angle drop resistance from SGS Industry – it also has a very generous 5,800mAh battery.

For the Malaysian market, the Honor X9b retails at RM1,499. For that kind of money, it features 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and three colour options: Sunrise Orange – the model you see here with a vegan leather back – Titanium Silver, and Midnight Black.

Hardware wise, the Honor X9b features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, a 6.78-inch 2652 x 1200 AMOLED “anti-drop” display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (108MP primary + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), and a 16MP selfie camera. On top of that, its aforementioned 5,800mAh battery with 35W fast charging is said to offer up to three days of use on a single charge too.

The Honor X9b is now available for pre-order in Malaysia for RM1,499. Every pre-order will also come with freebies worth up to RM978, which include a Honor Choice Earbuds X5, a Honor Choice Moecen Band, and a 365-day front and back crack replacement.
