First unveiled at the Malaysia Autoshow 2023 back in May, pricing for the Proton X50 R3 20th Anniversary Edition has just been revealed. Offered as an accessories package, the R3 treatment is exclusive to the Flagship variant of the hugely popular B-segment SUV, and only 200 units are available.

Priced at RM12,000 (fitting included), the R3 accessories package is an add-on for the RM113,300 Flagship X50 in Jet Grey. The package includes a satin black vinyl wrap, R3 aerokit (front, rear, and side skirts), bonnet stripe, rear roof spoiler, as well as 18-inch R3 lightweight alloy wheels.

Beyond that, the accessories package also adds an R3 logo on the front grille with a special R3 nameplate for the rear tailgate. The interior gets the R3 treatment too: there’s the R3 interior dash nameplate, R3 headrest embroidery for the driver and front passenger seats, R3-branded carpet mats, and even Proton’s own window tint.

R3 has been synonymous with Proton’s success in the motorsports arena for as well as developing models with outstanding performance for our customers who are driving enthusiasts,” said the CEO of Proton Edar, Roslan Abdullah.

We are grateful for their enthusiasm and want to reward them with this accessories package that was developed specially for Proton’s most popular SUV model.”

Deliveries for the Proton X50 R3 20th Anniversary Edition will start sometime in the middle of November 2023 next month.
