It looks like the updated AirPods Pro with a USB-C charging case isn’t the only product available in Malaysia today. Both the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 can now be purchased locally, and with that, all major products unveiled at Apple’s September 2023 event are now available on our shores.

Of course, the Series 9 is the more affordable smartwatch of the two, retailing from RM1,899 in Malaysia – this is the same starting price as the Series 8 at launch. As for the more rugged Apple Watch Ultra 2, it goes for RM3,799 locally; also similar to last year’s model.

Both the Series 9 and Ultra 2 are packed with brighter displays than their respective predecessors, and they are also powered by Apple’s S9 chip now. This opens up support for the new double tap gesture, which allows users to control the primary button in any given app with just a double tap of the index finger and thumb. That’s quite neat.

You can now purchase the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 in Malaysia directly from Apple’s online store. Chances are, Apple Premium Resellers will also have the two smartwatches in stock from today onwards.
