While the Garmin Venu 3 was already available in Malaysia early last month, the company recently did a launch event for the smartwatch. One of the highlights of the Venu 3 is the Sleep Coach feature, which is said to be able to improve a user’s sleep quality.
Two sizes of the Venu 3 are offered for the Malaysian market. There’s the Venu 3 with a 1.4-inch 454 x 454 AMOLED display, as well as the more compact Venu 3S with a smaller 1.2-inch 390 x 390 AMOLED screen. Interestingly, both smartwatches retail at the same RM2,220 price point.
While most smartwatches can track your sleep, the Venu 3’s Sleep Coach feature looks to offer a more sophisticated tracking. Not only can it track naps, it can even recommend “optimal sleep and nap duration and timings for improved quality sleep,” as Garmin puts it.
Other specifications of the Venu 3 include up to 14 days of battery life – 10 days for the smaller Venu 3S, understandably – 30 different sports apps with animated workouts and coaching, a stainless steel bezel, and a 5 ATM water resistance rating.
The Garmin Venu 3 and Venu 3S are now available in Malaysia for RM2,220. You can purchase the new smartwatches through Shopee, Lazada, and Garmin Brand Stores nationwide.
