Microsoft introduced a slew of new products today, including the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3. While there’s no major design changes here, the new laptop does come with some new internals and up to 15 hours of battery life. On top of that, it is also coming to Malaysia.
We know this as Microsoft Malaysia’s website itself shows that the Surface Laptop Go 3 is coming soon to our local market. Unfortunately, no specific release timeline was given, and it remains to be seen just how much it will go for here in Malaysia.
For the sake of context, the new laptop starts at $799 in the US, which comes up to about RM3,745.

Under the hood, the Surface Laptop Go 3 now features a 12th generation Intel Core i5-1235U processor paired with 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It also has Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, a 256GB SSD, as well as a 12.4-inch 1536 x 1024 PixelSense display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and standard 60Hz refresh rate.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 will be available in the US from 3 October onwards with the aforementioned $799 starting price. Now that the laptop has been confirmed for the Malaysian market, we’ll be sure to keep an eye on the local availability and pricing of the Surface Laptop Go 3.
