Vivo just launched an upper mid-range phone in Malaysia. Not only does the Vivo V29 feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, it also has a rather premium-looking design, thanks to its dual curved AMOLED screen.
Two variants of the V29 are available in Malaysia. The base 256GB model is priced at RM1,899, while the more generous 512GB variant goes for RM2,099. Both configurations also feature 12GB of RAM, and it’s offered in two colours: Starry Purple (the model you see here) and Noble Black.

Aside from its Snapdragon 778G chipset, other specifications of the V29 include a 6.78-inch 2800 x 1260 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP monochrome), a 50MP selfie camera, and a 4,600mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
The Vivo V29 is now available for pre-order in Malaysia for RM1,899 and RM2,099 for the 256GB and 512GB models respectively. Early birds can get freebies worth RM995 as well, which includes a one-year extended warranty, one-year screen protection, and even a pair of wireless earbuds.
