Launched just a couple of months ago, the Honda WR-V looks to be quite well-received in Malaysia. As of 6 September, almost 7,300 bookings have been recorded; that’s almost triple the 2,500 bookings the small SUV got at launch.
This was revealed by Honda Malaysia itself as per Paultan.org’s report. The carmaker also said that close to 3,300 units of the WR-V have been delivered, and the waiting period for the small SUV sits at around two months now, depending on the colour and variant chosen.

Speaking of which, the WR-V in RS trim is the most sold model, making up over 62% of units delivered as of 6 September. The next most popular model is the V (19%), followed by the E (13%) and base S (6%) variants. Evidently, Malaysian consumers don’t mind paying more for the higher-end models.
To recap, the WR-V starts at RM89,900 for the base S model. A tier up is the E trim for RM95,900, followed by the V variant at RM99,900. As for the range-topping RS model, it goes for RM107,900. These prices are on-the-road without insurance, and five colour options are available: Ignite Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Grey Metallic – this is the most popular colour option – Crystal Black Pearl, and the new Stellar Diamond Pearl.

The Honda WR-V is now available for booking at all 101 authorised Honda dealerships nationwide. Alternatively, pre-booking can be done online here, or through the HondaTouch app – it can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
