Genshin Impact 4.1 is set to arrive in the next two weeks on 27 September, and the main storyline of the new Fontaine nation is looking to heat up. Not only will the upcoming version update add two new playable characters, the Fatui Harbinger “Arlecchino” will be making her debut too.
The trailer below shows a few snippets of Arlecchino, though it remains to be seen exactly what role she will be playing in the Fontaine storyline. Beyond that, Neuvillette and Wriothesley will be playable in Genshin Impact 4.1 as well, and both of them are 5-star catalyst characters. Their respective story quests will be available too.
A new area in Fontaine will also be unlocked in the Version 4.1 update of Genshin Impact. The Fortress of Meropid is where the main Archon quest will pick up again, where the Traveler will be looking for – slight spoiler here – Childe after the events of Version 4.0.
September is when Genshin Impact celebrates its anniversary, so a number of rewards will be given to players. These include 10 Intertwined Fates, 1,600 Primogems (enough for another 10 rolls), four Fragile Resins, and two unique gadgets: Portable Aerodynamic Gelatinous Bubble Generator – that’s a mouthful – and Itty Bitty Octobaby.
Genshin Impact 4.1 will go live on 27 September 2023. Neuvillette’s event wish will be available first alongside Hu Tao’s rerun banner, while Wriothesley’s and Venti’s banners will be offered at a later date.
