As promised, the Realme 11x has just been launched in Malaysia, and it looks to be available exclusively on U Mobile at the moment. Though the mid-range phone retails at RM999, you can get the phone for free by subscribing to the U Postpaid 98 plan.

Of course, there are some caveats. In order to get the Realme 11x for RM0, you have to sign up for the U Postpaid 98 plan on a 24-month contract. If you get it on a 12-month contract instead, you’ll have to pay RM349 for the phone.

Alternatively, you can also get the Realme 11x with the more affordable U Postpaid 68 plan. Getting the plan with a 12-month contract discounts the phone to RM439, while the 24-month contract lets you purchase the phone for only RM239.

For the most part, the Realme 11x shares many of its hardware with the higher-end Realme 11. It still comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, a 6.72-inch 2400 x 1080 IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5,000mAh battery.

Where the Realme 11x differs from the Realme 11 are in two aspects: camera configuration and charging speed. It has a simpler dual camera configuration made up of a 64MP main shooter and a 2MP portrait lens, an 8MP selfie camera, and 33W fast charging.
