Initially unveiled at Computex 2023, the Acer Swift Edge 16 is now available in Malaysia. It’s a refresh of the original Swift Edge we reviewed, and it is now powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7000 series processors with integrated AMD Radeon Graphics.

Two variants of the Swift Edge 16 are available in Malaysia. The Ryzen 5 7535U model with 512GB of SSD storage retails at RM3,999, while the higher-end Ryzen 7 7735U configuration with a 1TB SSD goes for RM4,399.

Beyond the different processor and SSD capacity, both variants of the Swift Edge 16 have the same hardware. These include a 16-inch 3840 x 2400 OLED display – we don’t get the 120Hz panel option, unfortunately – 16GB of RAM, along with a 12.95mm chassis that tips the scales at only 1.17kg; quite lightweight for a 16-inch laptop.

The Acer Swift Edge 16 is now available for purchase in Malaysia from RM3,999. The first 30 customers to purchase the laptop will also get freebies worth up to RM948, including a Porsche-branded wireless mouse, an Austin backpack, as well as TNG eWallet credit in conjunction with the ongoing Acer Day 2023 campaign.
