Occasionally, Hoyoverse releases animated shorts for certain characters in Honkai: Star Rail. The previous one was for Jing Yuan, and this time around, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae gets his own animated short.

Not only does the very well-animated video explore Imbibitor Lunae’s past, we also get a look at other prominent characters in Star Rail. These include Jingliu – who has already been teased by Hoyoverse – Yingxing, and Baiheng. All of them, together with Jing Yuan and Dan Feng (Dan Heng’s previous incarnation), form the legendary High-Cloud Quintet.

Evidently, Hoyoverse is building up excitement for Imbibitor Lunae, which will be playable from tomorrow onwards on 30 August once the Version 1.3 update of Star Rail is live. On top of that, his Companion Mission will also be available then, which should shed more light on the character.

Aside from Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, Fu Xuan and Lynx will also be coming to Honkai: Star Rail in the Version 1.3 update. Imbibitor Lunae’s banner will be offered first, while Fu Xuan’s and Lynx’s event warps will be available in the second phase at a later date.
