CelcomDigi is holding a roadshow dubbed Karnival Jom 5G at various locations throughout Malaysia – six locations, to be specific – to make it easier for Malaysians to start enjoying 5G connectivity. At the carnival, visitors can even get 5G phones for free, though there are some caveats.

The CelcomDigi Karnival Jom 5G is happening now at six different locations until 20 August. These include Celcom bluecube Sunway Pyramid, Subang Jaya; Digi Store Bayan Baru, Penang; Celcom bluecube Taman Molek, Johor Bahru; Celcom bluecube, Kuantan; Digi Store Api-Api, Kota Kinabalu; and Celcom bluecube Tun Jugah, Kuching.

If you want the free 5G phone – there are four different 5G-capable phones to choose from – you just have to sign up for the Celcom Mega 98 or Digi Postpaid 90 plan. Aside from that, visitors can also enjoy up to 75% discount on various accessories at the carnival.

Various activities are also held at the Karnival Jom 5G; at least, that’s the case for the carnival at Celcom bluecube Sunway Pyramid. There are various AR and VR experiences for visitors to try out, from an AR car simulator to a roller coaster ride in virtual reality.
