Maxis users can finally enjoy 5G connectivity from today onwards! Just like other telcos, Maxis is tapping into Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB)’s 5G network to provide 5G service to its customers. In conjunction with its introduction of 5G, Maxis also unveiled a slew of new plans.

Of course, to get 5G connectivity, existing Maxis users have to upgrade to a new 5G plan. The most affordable one is the Maxis Postpaid 79 plan for RM79/month, which provides 80GB of 4G/5G data and 40GB 5G bonus data for a total of 120GB. Of course, this plan comes with unlimited calls and SMS as well.

Alternatively, you can add 5G connectivity to your current plan for an extra RM10/month with the 5G Access Pass. As an introductory offer, Maxis users can get the first month free until 15 September 2023. Naturally, this offer is available to Hotlink users as well.

You can get the 5G Access Pass or upgrade your current Maxis plan through the Maxis app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery. More details on Maxis’ new 5G plans can be found on its official website.
