Genshin Impact 4.0 is arriving this coming Wednesday on 16 August, so as per usual, we got some character teasers from Hoyoverse itself. This time around, the developer is teasing two new Fontaine characters: Neuvillette and Wriothesley.

Chances are, both of them will be playable in the next Version 4.1 update for Genshin Impact. After all, every character teased by Hoyoverse are usually playable in the next version update of the game, so there’s no reason the same wouldn’t apply to Neuvillette and Wriothesley.

Unfortunately, the rarity of the two characters were not revealed, though Hoyoverse confirmed that Neuvillette is a Cryo character, while Wriothesley is a Hydro unit. Interestingly, Neuvillette’s description seems to imply that he doesn’t have a Vision; the name of his Constellation was not revealed either.

Nonetheless, we should learn more about Neuvillette and Wriothesley in the new Fontaine storyline once the Version 4.0 update of Genshin Impact drops this Wednesday on 16 August. Lyney’s and Yelan’s banners (alongside Lynette) will also be available once the update is live.
