Professionals who are looking to get a new microphone system now have a new option to consider in Malaysia. The Sennheiser EW-DX digital wireless microphone series has just landed on our shores, and it’s said to feature the lowest latency (1.9 milliseconds) in the market.

Two sets of the EW-DX are currently available in Malaysia. The EW-DX 835-S handheld set is priced at RM12,999, while the EW-DX MKE 2 lavalier set goes for RM13,999. Either sets will come with a handheld, bodypack, and table stand transmitters; two 2-channel receiver versions in a half 19-inch rack space (one with Dante and another without); and a 4-channel Dante-enabled receiver in a full 19-inch format.

One of the key selling points of the EW-DX – aside from its low latency – is the fact that it can simplify workflows to deliver a digital UHF system that can be scaled easily. “This awesome system combines pro features and ease of use in well-designed, rugged housings. We’re happy to see it hitting the market,” said the product manager of Sennheiser, Benny Franke.
