Also unveiled alongside Samsung’s new foldable phones today is the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic. In the case of the latter, the rotating bezel makes a return, and both watches are available in two different sizes with slimmer bezels and larger displays now.

First, prices. The Watch 6 is the more affordable option with a RM1,099 starting price for the 40mm Bluetooth model, while the larger 44mm (also Bluetooth version) retails from RM1,199. If you want LTE support, you’ll have to fork out an additional RM300.

As for the Watch 6 Classic, it starts at RM1,399 for the 43mm Bluetooth variant, going up to RM1,499 for the 47mm Bluetooth model. Again, the LTE versions of both sizes are available for RM300 extra.

Beyond size and the physical rotating bezel – the Watch 6 uses a touch-sensitive bezel instead – both smartwatches are quite similar to each other. They both feature an Exnos W930 chip, a circular Super AMOLED display protected by sapphire crystal, 5ATM and IP68 ratings, as well as up to 40 hours of battery life with the always-on display (AOD) disabled. This goes down to 30 hours with AOD switched on.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic will be available in Malaysia from 18 August onwards. The Watch 6 starts at RM1,099, while the Watch 6 Classic retails from RM1,399.
