Vivo is set to launch a new mid-range phone in Malaysia, the Vivo Y78. Sporting a 120Hz dual curved screen with a 64MP camera – complete with optical image stabilisation – the Y78 looks to be a rather interesting mid-ranger.
As shown on the product page of the Y78, the phone features a 6.78-inch 2400 x 1080 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a triple camera system made up of the aforementioned 64MP main sensor with OIS, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth lens.
Other specifications of the Y78 include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a 16MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging, and Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
The Vivo Y78 will be launched in Malaysia next week on 1 August. The local pricing of the phone, along with its availability on our shores, should be unveiled then.
