Now this is interesting: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is getting a limited edition PS5 model. While it’s not the first special edition PS5, it is the first one to be available right here in Malaysia, and it will be available for pre-order on our shores this Friday on 28 July.

The symbiote – and in turn, Venom – is set to be one of the biggest threats in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which is why the limited edition PS5 model takes that as a design inspiration. This extends to the DualSense controller as well with a rather sleek red and black colour scheme, representing Spider-Man and the symbiote respectively. Naturally, a digital download of the game is packaged with the bundle.

If you already own a PS5, you’ll be happy to know that the Spider-Man 2 cover will be available for purchase separately for both the standard model and Digital Edition of the console. Same goes for the DualSense controller, though the retail prices of these products have not been revealed yet.

Nonetheless, Malaysian pre-orders of the limited edition PS5, PS5 cover, and DualSense controller of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will start this Friday on 28 July. The PS5 cover and DualSense controller are set to arrive here on 1 September, while the special edition PS5 will be available on 15 September – quite a bit earlier than the launch of the game on 20 October.
