Honor’s latest premium mid-range smartphone, the Honor 90, has been launched in Malaysia. Packed with a triple camera system headlined by a 200MP sensor, the mid-ranger is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition chipset, which features higher clock speeds than the regular version of the SoC.
For the Malaysian market, the Honor 90 is offered in two variants. The 12GB + 256GB base model retails at RM1,799, while the more generous 12GB + 512GB configuration goes for RM2,099. Three colours options are offered locally: Peacock Blue, Emerald Green, and Diamond Silver.
One of the most highlighted features of the Honor 90 is its triple camera system. The primary shooter is a 200MP unit, and it’s complemented by a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. While the phone doesn’t offer a telephoto camera, you don’t often see a 200MP primary camera in this segment.
Other specifications of the Honor 90 include the aforementioned Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition – it has peak CPU speeds of up to 2.5GHz – a 6.7-inch 2664 x 1200 dual-curve OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.
The Honor 90 will be available for purchase in Malaysia tomorrow on 22 July from RM1,799. Those who get the phone on tomorrow itself will receive free gifts worth RM647, which include a Honor Earbuds X5, a 1 + 1 year extended warranty, and a 180-day screen crack protection.
