Unveiled just last month at Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference, the 15-inch Apple MacBook Air is now available in Malaysia. Sporting a large 15.3-inch display, a side profile of only 11.5mm thin, and up to 18 hours of battery life, the new MacBook Air is touted as “the world’s best 15-inch laptop.”
Naturally, the 15-inch MacBook Air is powered by Apple’s latest M2 chip. Its aforementioned 11.5mm chassis also makes this machine the world’s thinnest 15-inch laptop, as the Cupertino company puts it. Of course, tipping the scales at 3.3 pounds (about 1.5kg), it’s relatively lightweight too.
Other specifications of the 15-inch MacBook Air include a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display with up to 500 nits of brightness, a 1080p camera, a six-speaker sound system, up to 24GB memory with 2TB storage, as well as four colour options: Midnight, Starlight, Space Grey, and Silver.
The 15-inch Apple MacBook Air can now be purchased in Malaysia with a RM6,199 starting price. For that kind of money, the base model features 8GB of unified memory and 256GB of storage. If you want to upgrade the storage to 512GB, you’ll have to fork out RM6,999 – an extra RM800.
