Aside from the Nova 11 series, Huawei also launched two new laptops in Malaysia today. Enter the Huawei MateBook 16s 2023 and Huawei MateBook D 14 2023. The MateBook 16s is a premium Windows laptop, while the latter is a more budget-friendly machine.
For the Malaysian market, two variants of the MateBook D 14 are offered: the 8GB RAM model is priced at RM3,199, while the 16GB RAM configuration goes for RM3,399. As for the premium MateBook 16s, it costs a cool RM6,999.
Naturally, the MateBook 16s features Intel’s latest 13th gen Core i9-13900H processor paired with 16GB of RAM, a 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD, a 16-inch 2520 x 1680 IPS touch-enabled display with a 3:2 aspect ratio – it also has a maximum brightness of 400 nits – as well as a 84Wh battery.
As for the MateBook D 14, it is packed with a 12th gen Intel Core i5-1240P processor, a 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD, a 14-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 56Wh battery, and just like the MateBook 16s, Windows 11 Home out of the box.
Both the Huawei MateBook 16s 2023 and Matebook D 14 2023 will be available for purchase in Malaysia on 15 July next week. To recap, the MateBook 16s is priced at RM6,999, while the MateBook D 14 goes for RM3,199 and RM3,399 for the 8GB RAM and 16GB RAM configurations respectively.
