A new Honor phone is coming to Malaysia, and it’s a premium mid-range offering. Enter the Honor 90, which features a triple camera system headlined by a 200MP sensor, not to mention a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition chipset which features higher clock speeds.
For the Malaysian market, we were told that only one variant of the Honor 90 will be available here. It’s packed with a generous 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage, and three colours options are set to be offered locally: Peacock Blue, Emerald Green, and Diamond Silver.
One of the best features of the Honor 90 has to be its triple camera system. The primary shooter is a 200MP unit, and it’s complemented by a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. While the phone doesn’t offer a telephoto camera, you don’t often see a 200MP primary camera in this segment.
Other specifications of the Honor 90 include the aforementioned Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition – it has peak CPU speeds of up to 2.5GHz – a 6.7-inch 2664 x 1200 dual-curve OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.
Although we have confirmation that the Honor 90 will be coming to Malaysia, it remains to be seen exactly when it will debut here. Nonetheless, we’ll be sure to keep a close eye on the local availability of the phone, along with the Malaysian pricing of the premium mid-ranger.
