U Mobile got a new 5G wireless home broadband plan dubbed U Home 5G. According to the telco, it is the first to offer a 5G broadband solution without any contract, and there’s even a promotional price for the plan right now.

Normally offered at RM78/month, those who sign-up for the U Home 5G now can get the promotional rate of RM68/month for life. This offer is valid until further notice, and besides the discounted price, you also get unlimited quota with a minimum speed of 100Mbps (when 5G network is available) or 23Mbps average speed on 4G connectivity.

However, as with most unlimited plans, U Home 5G does have a fair usage policy (FUP). Once users hit the 1,000GB quota, speeds will be reduced to 512Kbps. Of course, you can purchase another 1,000GB quota as an add-on for RM30; quite a good deal, in our opinion.
