Acer just launched its latest eco-friendly laptop in Malaysia, the refreshed Acer Aspire Vero 14. With a chassis that’s made out of 40% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic – that’s 10% more than its predecessor – it sees a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions during the chassis production of the laptop.

Three different variants of the Aspire Vero 14 are available in Malaysia. The base model with an Intel Core i3-1315U processor paired with 8GB of RAM retails at RM2,599, while the Core i5-1335U configuration with the same amount of RAM is priced at RM3,099.

As for the range-topping Core i7-1335U model with 16GB of RAM, it goes for RM3,899.

Beyond the different CPU and RAM configuration, all variants of the Aspire Vero 14 feature similar hardware. These include a 14-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display, a 512GB SSD, a 720p webcam, and a 50Wh battery that promises up to 10 hours of use on a single charge. With a 17.9mm thin chassis that weighs 1.5kg, it’s quite a portable laptop too, and it even comes bundled with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021.

All three variants of the Acer Aspire Vero 14 are now available for purchase in Malaysia from RM2,599. In line with the eco-friendly ethos of the laptop, customers can trade-in their old devices (working or non-functional) to get up to RM500 discount on the Vero 14. This promo is valid until 30 September 2023.
