Asus ROG Ally First Sale in Malaysia – Sold Out in 7 Minutes!
June 19, 2023 Andrew Cheng

The Asus ROG Ally went up for sale in Malaysia earlier today for RM3,299 for the sole AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme model, and it only took seven whole minutes for the device to be sold out! Evidently, many are eager to get their hands on the handheld gaming PC.

To give more context to the first Malaysian sale of the ROG Ally, only 100 units were up for grabs. On top of that, every purchase also comes with RM1,299 worth of goodies, which include a pair of ROG Cetra wireless earbuds, a travel case, a screen protector, a charger dock, and even a nine-month subscription to Microsoft’s PC Game Pass.

On top of the freebies mentioned above, every purchase of the Ally also comes with a whopping RM2,000 discount on the ROG XG Mobile external GPU enclosure. This brings down the price of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 and AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT models to RM5,999 and RM4,999 respectively.

If you missed the first sale of the ROG Ally, you can still enjoy the same RM1,299 freebies once the handheld gaming console is available for offline purchase come 1 July at the ROG Roadshow in Low Yat Plaza. While the RM2,000 discount on the XG Mobile wasn’t mentioned, you can enter a lucky draw to walk away with prizes worth up to RM6,999.

The Asus ROG Ally, despite its drawbacks, looks to be quite popular among Malaysians. If you’d like to learn more about the handheld gaming PC, check out our full review of the Ally.
