Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 finally gets a launch date! The third instalment of the series after the original game and the Miles Morales spin-off is set to be available on 20 October 2023, and pre-orders will be open from 16 June next week.

Three different versions of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 are offered. The Standard Edition is priced at RM299, and every pre-order of the game – regardless of which version – will come with an early unlock of the Arachknight Suit for Peter, the Shadow Spider Suit for Miles, the Web Grabber gadget, and three skill points.

For those who want to get extra goodies with the game, there’s the Collector’s Edition for a cool RM969. For that kind of money, you’re getting “an extraordinary, high-quality 19-inch statue” of Peter and Miles battling Venom, a sleek SteelBook case, and a voucher to download the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game.

The Digital Deluxe Edition of Spider-Man 2, priced at RM339, adds on 10 unique suits – both Peter and Miles get five suits each – additional Photo Mode frames and stickers, as well as two additional skill points. Not bad for only RM40 more over the Standard Edition, though you don’t get a physical copy of the game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be available exclusively on the PS5 on 20 October 2023. You can start pre-ordering the game from your favourite game store from 16 June next week.
