The Realme C53 has just been launched in Malaysia. We are one of the first markets to receive the brand new budget-friendly phone, and according to the Chinese company, the C53’s 33W fast charging is touted as a segment-first.

For the Malaysian market, the Realme C53 is offered in the sole 6GB + 128GB model for RM599. That comfortably puts it in the budget segment, and it is available in two distinct colours: Champion Gold and Mighty Black. Quite…grandiose names.

For that kind of money, the C53 features the aforementioned 33W fast charging. It also comes with a Unisoc Tiger T612 processor, a 6.74-inch 1080p IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a dual camera system (50MP primary + black and white sensor), an 8MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The Realme C53 will be available for purchase in Malaysia from tomorrow onwards on 7 June. For only RM599, it’s a phone worth looking into if you’re looking for a budget-friendly smartphone.
