Apple has been steadily improving the gaming capability of the Mac platform, and it’s getting a big new game soon. At WWDC 2023, Hideo Kojima announced that the acclaimed Death Stranding Director’s Cut is coming to Mac sometime this year.

The game is said to be available for pre-order on the Mac App Store soon. Kojima further added that future games from his studio – including the sequel to Death Stranding, perhaps – will also be made available for Mac.

Needless to say, it’s quite a big deal for a high-profile game developer like Kojima Productions to support the Mac platform. It’ll be interesting to see just how well Death Stranding would run on a Mac, especially on the new 15-inch MacBook Air powered by Apple’s M2 chip.
