Remember the leaked image of what appears to be a physical Apple Store in construction right here in Malaysia? Well, according to a report by Bloomberg, the store in question will in fact be located at The Exchange TRX, and it’s estimated to be opened sometime in February 2024 next year.
The Bloomberg report added that Apple will also be opening more stores throughout Asia Pacific. These include India, Japan, Australia, South Korea, and China. However, it’s worth noting that some of the Apple Stores in certain markets are only in the proposal stage at the time of writing.
Of course, as per Bloomberg’s report, the Apple Store in Malaysia is not in the proposal stage anymore. The Apple outlet at The Exchange TRX looks to be quite finalised, even if the February 2024 launch window is just an estimate.
Things could certainly change leading up to the launch of Malaysia’s first Apple Store. Rest assured, we will keep a close eye for any relevant development. It’s definitely exciting for Malaysia to get an Apple Store, which is quite a bit different than the physical outlets currently operated by Apple Premium Resellers on our shores.
