Oppo just launched a new mid-range phone in Malaysia, the Oppo A98. Sporting 67W fast charging with a rather generous 5,000mAh battery and 120Hz display, the A98 is quite a sleek-looking phone too.

For the Malaysian market, the A98 is offered in the sole 8GB + 256GB configuration for RM1,399. Available in two distinct colours (Dreamy Blue and Cool Black), every pre-order of the phone until 18 May will come with freebies worth up to RM377, including an Oppo Band and a pair of wireless earbuds.

For that kind of money, the A98 offers the aforementioned 5,000mAh battery with support for fast 67W charging. It also features a 6.72-inch 1080p LTPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, a triple camera system (64MP primary + 2MP depth + 2MP microlens), as well as a 32MP selfie camera.
