Hoyoverse is expanding Genshin Impact’s Genius Invokation TCG quite a bit in the upcoming Version 3.7 update. Over 60 new cards will be added to the card game once the update is live, and the developer is even teasing a new underwater gameplay for the upcoming nation of Fontaine.

That’s right, it looks like Genshin Impact will be getting underwater gameplay once Fontaine is added to the game. Interestingly, a character from Fontaine, Charlotte, will also appear in the new update’s event storyline. Chances are, Fontaine is coming to Genshin Impact very, very soon.

Aside from that, Kirara – a new 4-star Dendro character – will be playable in Genshin Impact 3.7 as well. Hailing from Inazuma, the sword user’s Elemental Skill allows her to create a Dendro shield or transform into a rather cute “Urgent Neko Parcel” that deals Dendro damage when she hits opponents.

Of course, a slew of in-game events will also take place in Genshin Impact 3.7, and most of them revolve around the Genius Invokation TCG tournament dubbed King of Invokation Grand Prix. If you’re a fan of the card game, you’ll definitely find the new update entertaining.

Genshin Impact 3.7 will go live on 24 May later this month. Kirara will be featured in the first phase of the event wish alongside Yoimiya’s and Yae Miko’s rerun banners, followed by Kaedehara Kazuha’s and Alhaitham’s reruns in the second phase.
