Launched alongside the F5 Pro is the more affordable Poco F5. Given its more budget-friendly nature, the F5 features slightly more modest hardware, but powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, it’s still quite a capable phone.

Two variants of the F5 are offered in Malaysia. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at RM1,699, while the 12GB + 256GB configuration goes for RM1,799. While stocks last, a RM300 discount is offered for both variants through Shopee, bringing down the starting price of the phone to only RM1,399.

One of the unique selling points of the F5 is its Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip. In fact, it is the first phone in Malaysia with this SoC. Based on early impressions, it’s quite a capable chip that will be able to offer a good level of performance.

Rounding out the specifications of the F5 are a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (64MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), a 16MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

The Poco F5 is now available for purchase in Malaysia; the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB models retail at RM1,699 and RM1,799 respectively. As mentioned, early birds can get a RM300 discount on each variant while stocks fast.
