Poco just unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Poco F5 Pro. Sporting last year’s (but still very capable) Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, the F5 Pro is a reasonably well-equipped phone with decent value for money.

For the Malaysian market, as many as three variants of the F5 Pro are offered here. The base 8GB + 256GB model is priced at RM2,099, while the 12GB + 256GB configuration goes for RM2,199. As for the range-topping 12GB + 512GB variant, it’s priced at RM2,399.

It’s worth noting that early birds can get a discount on the F5 Pro. The range-topping RM2,399 model gets a RM200 discount, while the other two models receive a RM100 rebate. These promotional prices are valid while stocks last on Lazada.

For that kind of money, the Poco F5 Pro features the aforementioned Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. While it’s not quite as exciting as the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, it’s still a fast processor that will be able to provide flagship-class performance.

Other specifications of the F5 Pro include a sharp 6.67-inch 3200 x 1440 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (64MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), a 16MP selfie camera, and a 5,160mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. Interestingly, it can do 30W wireless fast charging too.

The Poco F5 Pro is now available for purchase in Malaysia. To recap, the phone retails from RM2,099, and early birds can get up to RM200 discount on the phone while stocks last.
