Also launched alongside the Acer Predator Helios 16 and Helios 18 in Malaysia is the much more affordable (and refreshed) Acer Aspire 7. Though it doesn’t feature the newest or fastest hardware, it looks to be ideal for gamers who just want a laptop to do some occasional gaming.

Only one variant of the Aspire 7 is available in Malaysia. Packed with a 12th gen Intel Core i5-12450H processor paired with 8GB of RAM (upgradable to 32GB) and a 512GB SSD, the budget-friendly laptop retails at RM3,199.

Aside from that, it also features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate alongside an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU. While this isn’t an awfully powerful GPU – nor is it particularly…new – it should be fast enough for casual gaming.

The Acer Aspire 7 can be purchased in Malaysia by the end of April 2023 this month for RM3,199. Acer’s online store and its official stores on Shopee and Lazada will carry the affordable laptop once it’s available here.
