Both Proton and Perodua just announced their respective Rahmah service packages. Offering up to 30% discount on service costs, this initiative is launched by MITI minister Tengku Zafrul to encourage folks to get their vehicles serviced ahead of the Hari Raya celebration.
Proton’s Rahmah service package offers up to 25% discount on service costs, along with a free 40-point safety check. This initiative is targeted at owners of the Saga, Persona, Iriz, and Exora. Those with older Proton models such as the Wira, Waja, and Inspira are also eligible for the Rahman service package, which is valid from today until 31 May.
As for Perodua, it is offering slightly higher discounts of up to 30%, though its Rahmah service package is only extended to Axia and Bezza owners. Nonetheless, its Rahmah campaign also starts today, but it’s set to end earlier on 15 May.
At the moment, only Proton and Perodua have announced their Rahmah service packages; it remains to be seen if other car brands will follow suit. If you’re driving any of the models listed here, it’s worth getting it serviced, especially if you’re planning a balik kampung trip in the near future.
