The Redmi Note 12 series has just been launched in Malaysia, and the highlight of the series is the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. It is touted as the “mid-range king,” and it has a number of intriguing features, including a 200MP camera, a 120Hz display, and even 120W fast charging.
Only one variant of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is available in Malaysia. Packed with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the mid-ranger retails at RM1,599 on our shores. Three distinct colour options are offered: Midnight Black, Polar White, and Sky Blue.


As mentioned, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has a 200MP main camera, which is also complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide shooter and a 2MP macro lens. As for the display, it’s a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Other specifications of the Note 12 Pro+ include a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage, a 16MP selfie camera, and a 4,980mAh battery with support for 120W HyperCharge. According to Xiaomi, the phone can be fully charged in only 19 minutes, and of course, a 120W charger is also provided in the box.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will be available for pre-order in Malaysia from 6 to 13 April for RM1,599. Early birds who purchase the phone during the pre-order period will also get a Redmi Smart Band 2 worth RM149 for free.
