Huawei P60 Pro & Mate X3 Foldable Phone Official – Malaysian Preview Registration Open
March 23, 2023 Andrew Cheng

Huawei just launched its latest flagship phones in China. There’s the Huawei P60 series – made up of the standard P60, P60 Art, and P60 Pro – as well as the Huawei Mate X3 foldable phone, and registration for the Malaysia preview of the P60 Pro and Mate X3 is open now.

This could mean that the two phones will be officially available here, though Huawei Malaysia stopped short of confirming this outright. Nonetheless, the two devices are quite interesting, especially the Mate X3, which is touted as an “ultra-thin” foldable phone; it measures only 5.3mm thin when it is unfolded.

Other specifications of the Mate X3 include a “Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ 4G” chipset – which should be the 4G version of the 8+ Gen 1 – a 7.85-inch 2496 × 2224 inner OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 6.4-inch 1080p OLED cover screen (also set at 120Hz), a triple camera system (50MP main + 13MP ultra-wide + 12MP periscope telephoto), an 8MP selfie camera, a 4,800mAh (standard model) or 5,060mAh (Collector’s Edition) battery, as well as an IPX8 rating.

As for the P60 Pro, it features the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G chip, a 6.67-inch 2700 x 1220 OLED panel with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (48MP primary + 13MP ultra-wide + 48MP telephoto), a 13MP selfie shooter, a 4,815mAh battery, and an IP68 rating.

It remains to be seen if the Huawei P60 Pro and Huawei Mate X3 will be available in Malaysia, though if you’re interested, you can register your interest to preview the two phones on our shores right here.
