It appears Logitech is working on a new gaming mouse. Dubbed Logitech G Pro Superlight, it may be a lighter version of the original G Pro, which could bring back the features that were removed in 2021’s G Pro X Superlight.
We spotted the unannounced Logitech mouse in SIRIM’s database. Sporting the model number MR0097, the G Pro Superlight was registered with the certification body just today on 17 March. This isn’t the G Pro X Superlight either, given that it has a different model number (MR0106).
Back when the G Pro X Superlight was introduced in 2021, it removed quite a number of features from the original G Pro. These include LED lighting, a DPI button on the bottom of the mouse, and perhaps most importantly, the modular, removable buttons on the right side of the mouse for left-handed gamers. Given its naming convention, we reckon the G Pro Superlight will bring back these features.
Of course, this is just an educated guess on our part. We’ll just have to wait for Logitech to introduce the G Pro Superlight to find out just what it will bring to the table. Now that it’s been certified by SIRIM, there’s a good chance the gaming mouse will be unveiled very soon, and Malaysia could be one of the first markets to get it.
