UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) recorded its best month-on-month sales growth yet in February 2023. With over 9,297 units sold – 64 of them are Lexus models – it’s a marked 37% improvement over its sales figure in January 2023 (6,786 units).

Compared to the same month in 2022, UMWT’s February 2023 sales figure is an impressive 45% improvement. In 2023 so far, the company moved 16,083 units (including 79 units from Lexus), a 15% increase compared to the same period last year.

“Our February 2023 sales numbers are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team at UMWT. By continuously listening to our customers and adapting to their needs, we have been able to maintain our position as a top-performing player in the automotive industry,” said the president of UMWT, Datuk Ravindran K.

“With the introduction of our new GR and GR Sport models and the all-new Toyota Vios, we are excited to continue providing our customers with exceptional vehicles that exceed their expectations,” he added.

Speaking of which, the fourth generation Toyota Vios is now available for booking in Malaysia. The B-segment sedan is expected to retail from RM90,000 to RM96,000 for the base 1.5E and highest-end 1.5G models respectively.
