The budget-friendly Redmi 12C is now available in Malaysia. Sporting a very affordable price tag with a reasonably large display and battery capacity, it looks to be a good option for those who are on a tight budget.

Two variants of the Redmi 12C are offered in Malaysia. The base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage retails at RM599, while the 6GB + 128GB configuration goes for RM699. Four different colour options are available: Ocean Blue, Mint Green, Lavender Purple, and Graphite Grey.

Given the affordable nature of the Redmi 12C, it has a modest spec sheet. It features a 6.71-inch 720p display, a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a 50MP primary camera paired with an auxiliary lens for capturing depth information, a 5MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging via a microUSB port.

The Redmi 12C is now available for pre-order in Malaysia through Shopee and Lazada until 15 March; early birds can get a Redmi Buds 4 Lite (worth RM139) for free. To recap, the Redmi 12C costs RM599 and RM699 for the 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB configurations respectively.
