Launched alongside the range-topping Xiaomi 13 Pro is the more affordable standard Xiaomi 13. Despite sitting at a lower price point, it is still a flagship-tier phone with a Leica triple camera system – albeit not as sophisticated – and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

Unlike the 13 Pro, the regular Xiaomi 13 is only offered in one variant in Malaysia. Featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, it is priced at RM3,499. Three different colour options are available: Flora Green, White, and the classic Black.

Although the Xiaomi 13 doesn’t get the Pro’s 1-inch primary camera sensor, it’s still a rather capable (and Leica-branded) triple camera system. It consists of a 1/1.49-inch 50MP main shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto sensor. It’s a versatile camera setup with three different focal lengths.

Rounding out the specifications of the Xiaomi 13 are a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset previously mentioned, a 6.36-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 32MP selfie camera, a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging, and MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box.

You can now pre-order the Xiaomi 13 in Malaysia for RM3,499 until 7 March 2023. Online pre-orders through Shopee or Lazada will be bundled with a RM699 e-voucher, while offline pre-orders at Xiaomi stores will be bundled with a 43-inch Xiaomi TV P1 worth RM1,799.
