In typical Hoyoverse fashion, the developer dropped a teaser for two new characters coming to Genshin Impact: Baizhu and Kaveh. Both of them have actually appeared in the game before, so chances are, they will be playable in the Version 3.6 update of Genshin Impact.

After all, characters that are teased by Hoyoverse are usually playable in the next version update of Genshin Impact, so there’s no reason the same wouldn’t apply to Baizhu and Kaveh. Unfortunately, the rarity of the new characters has not been revealed yet, though we reckon Baizhu is a 5-star character, given how prominent he has been in the game’s overarching storyline.

As with previous teasers, there’s no mention of the weapons that Baizhu and Kaveh use; they haven’t been seen wielding any weapon in the game yet. But it’s confirmed in-game – and by Hoyoverse itself – that both of them possess a Dendro Vision.

Expect Baizhu and Kaveh to be playable characters once Genshin Impact 3.6 is here, which should be released sometime in April 2023, given that the Version 3.5 update drops next week on 1 March. That’s also when Dehya’s and Cyno’s event wishes will be available in Genshin Impact.
