It’s been expected for quite some time now, and here it is: Oppo finally confirmed the Malaysian availability of its latest foldable phone, the Oppo Find N2 Flip. It’s quite exciting, given that this is the Chinese company’s first-ever foldable phone to be offered outside of China.
Oppo Malaysia confirmed the local availability of the Find N2 Flip on its Twitter account, which also mentions a 2 March 2023 launch date for the clamshell foldable phone. A registration of interest for the Find N2 Flip has been opened too.
The Find N2 Flip is essentially Oppo’s answer to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Compared to the latter, the Find N2 Flip sports a more sizeable 3.26-inch 720 x 382 AMOLED cover screen, while the primary display is a 6.8-inch 2520 x 1080 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Just like the larger Oppo Find N2, the Find N2 Flip features a Hasselblad-branded camera system made up of a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. Naturally, it features Oppo’s very own MariSilicon X NPU as well for improved camera performance.
Rounding out the specifications of the Find N2 Flip include a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset paired with 8GB of RAM for international markets, 256GB of internal storage, a 32MP selfie camera, as well as a rather generous 4,300mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.

Expect to learn more about the Malaysian availability of the Oppo Find N2 Flip come 2 March next week. Naturally, no word yet on the local pricing of the foldable phone, though it does retail from £849 (about RM4,525) in the UK. It’ll be interesting to see if it will be priced similarly here in Malaysia.
