Another bank now supports Apple Pay here in Malaysia. If you’ve got a Visa or Mastercard credit card issued by HSBC – whether it’s a HSBC or HSBC Amanah card – you can now add it to the convenient payment service.

Now that HSBC credit cards are supported in Apple Pay, the bank is running a RM30 cashback campaign. To be eligible for the cashback, cardholders are required to make five transactions with their HSBC cards through Apple Pay until 31 May 2023.

To recap, Apple Pay makes it easier to make payments with a compatible Apple product, as it allows you to add your credit card or debit card to the service. Once you’ve set up Apple Pay on, say, your iPhone, you can use your phone to make payments at retailers that support the service.
