2023 Toyota Vios Arrives 20 March in Malaysia – Estimated Pricing From RM90k

UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has revealed the local launch date of the 2023 Toyota Vios. Set to be unveiled in Malaysia on 20 March, the popular B-segment sedan is now in its fourth generation, and it is feature-packed with rather comprehensive driver assistance systems.

According to UMWT, the new Vios is estimated to start from RM90,000 for the base 1.5E model, and dealers have revealed that the range-topping 1.5G may be priced from RM96,000. That’s right, only two trim levels are expected to be available in Malaysia.

In the safety department, the upcoming Vios will feature a slew of driver assistance systems. These include pre-collision system, lane keeping control, auto high beam, and get this: adaptive cruise control. Not many B-segment vehicles have this convenient feature.

Other revealed specifications of the updated Vios include 17-inch alloy wheels, three drive modes (Eco, Normal, Power), paddle shifters, an electronic parking brake with auto brake hold, rear air-cond vents, a 3D panoramic view monitor, and even a 9-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 2023 Toyota Vios is now available for booking in Malaysia. To recap, it’s expected to retail from RM90,000 to RM96,000 for the base 1.5E and highest-end 1.5G models respectively. We’ll find out the final pricing of the B-segment sedan very soon on 20 March.
