Oppo Introduces 3 New Products: MariSilicon Y, OHealth H1, Oppo Air Glass 2

Oppo just introduced three new products at its annual Inno Day event. These include the MariSilicon Y Bluetooth audio chip, the OHealth H1 health monitoring device, and the Oppo Air Glass 2 AR glasses.

Let’s start with the MariSilicon Y chip. One of the biggest features of this SoC is its use of N6RF process technology that increases Bluetooth bandwidth by 50%. This allows the chip to do 24-bit/192kHz lossless audio over Bluetooth, which Oppo says is an industry first.

As for the OHealth H1 – it’s the first product under Oppo’s new OHealth brand – it is quite an interesting health monitoring device. It can measure blood oxygen, ECG, heart and lung auscultation, heart rate, body temperature, as well as sleep tracking.

Last but not least is the new Air Glass 2, which sports a more conventional-looking design than its predecessor. Tipping the scales at only 38g, it’s a lightweight eyewear, and it even sports the world’s first (according to Oppo) resin SRG-diffractive waveguide lens developed by the company itself, which support vision correction.

Of course, the Air Glass 2 continues to offer a slew of AR features, including the ability to conduct real-time translation, navigation, convert voice into text for folks with hearing impairments, and even the ability to make phone calls.

As usual, it remains to be seen if any of these Oppo products will make it into Malaysia. Oppo will hold an experiential event for the local media tomorrow, so we’ll be sure to check with the company then.
