Death Stranding Gets a Sequel for PS5 – Norman Reedus, Troy Baker, Léa Seydoux Return
December 9, 2022 Andrew Cheng

Hideo Kojima has revealed his next game, and it’s a sequel to the original Death Stranding. Tentatively dubbed Death Stranding 2, the sequel – confirmed for the PS5 – will see the return of several cast members, including Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, and even Troy Baker.

The upcoming game was revealed with a four-minute long teaser video, but in typical Hideo Kojima fashion, it’s a bizarre trailer that presents more questions than answers. It does seem to explore more of Léa Seydoux’s character, Fragile, with narration by the renowned Troy Baker.

Two new cast members have also been confirmed for the sequel: Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna. It remains to be seen what parts they will play in Death Stranding 2, or if other cast members from the first game will reprise their roles.

No word yet on the release date of Death Stranding 2, though it’s confirmed to be coming to the PS5 so far. It will also be produced, written, directed, and designed by Hideo Kojima himself, so we can be sure it will be a surreal game.
