The next-generation Lenovo ThinkStation P620 workstation has just been launched in Malaysia, and it is a powerhouse. Featuring AMD’s very capable Threadripper Pro processors, it’s a serious workstation made for the most demanding creative professionals – even Aston Martin uses this machine.
According to Lenovo, the ThinkStation P620 is the world’s first (and only) workstation with AMD’s Threadripper Pro processors. At the time of writing, it starts at a cool RM9,733 on Lenovo’s Malaysian online store; premium price tag for a premium machine.

For that kind of money, the base model of the ThinkStation P620 features an AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3945WX processor paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, a 1TB 7200RPM HDD, a 256GB SSD, a 1000W PSU, and Windows 10 Pro out of the box. No GPU is offered for the base model, though you can add one through the configurator.
Of course, the prices vary depending on which GPU you want with the P620. Take the Nvidia RTX A6000, which costs RM27,180; you can even get two of them for RM55,420. Aside from the RTX A6000, there are a wide variety of other GPUs to choose from, including Quadro RTX 6000, RTX A5500, or even options from the AMD camp (Radeon Pro W6800, Radeon Pro VII).

The next-generation Lenovo ThinkStation P620 workstation is now available for purchase in Malaysia through Lenovo’s Malaysian online store. It starts at RM9,733, though expect to pay more as you configure the machine to your liking.
