Genshin Impact 3.1 is shaping up to be quite a big update. After all, it marks the live service game’s second anniversary, and a number of exciting events and features are coming, including the addition of a new area in Sumeru and three playable characters.
The three characters are, as expected, Nilou, Cyno, and Candace, who all hail from Sumeru. Cyno and Candace will be featured in the first phase of the event wish – alongside Venti’s rerun – followed by Nilou and Albedo’s banners; quite a jam-packed lineup.
Of course, Genshin Impact 3.1 will also continue Sumeru’s Archon quest, and it will involve a number of characters previously revealed. These include Dehya, Alhaitham, Cyno, Candace, and even two Fatui Harbingers: Scaramouche and Il Dottore. Personally, we can’t wait to see how the story will unfold.
Back in Mondstadt, the annual Weinlesefest event will take place in Version 3.1 of Genshin Impact, which will see the debut of a new character, Mika. The daily login event is also coming back, offering players up to 10 Intertwined Fates, 1,600 Primogems, and even a pet of sorts.
Oh, the Version 3.1 update will add dynamic terrain deformation as well to better simulate trails on sand, not to mention a more elaborate DualSense support that adds vibration feedback when characters unleash their respective Elemental Bursts. A card game (for real) will also be added in Version 3.3!
Genshin Impact 3.1 will go live in the next two weeks on 28 September. Once the update drops, Cyno, Candace, and Venti’s rerun banner will be available, followed by Nilou and Albedo’s event wishes in the second phase.
